Research and publications
The Faculty of Forest Sciences has wide ranging research activities. The Faculty participates in several EU funded projects and there is on-going research and development co-operation with forestry companies and other forestry organisations.
Current research emphasis is on:
the effects of climate change on forests,
forest ecology and biodiversity,
multiobjective and participatory forest planning,
wood science,
timber procurement planning,
modelling of forest growth and GIS,
the valuation of forest benefits and
wood energy. |
